At ALLY “A Life Like Yours” Advocacy Center, we help families and individuals through consultations, workshops, and parent support groups. We are also a place for fun and recreational activities.

When a person is diagnosed with a disability, it is often difficult to know where to turn to find information, resources, and support.

Our team at ALLY “A Life Like Yours” Advocacy Center works diligently to meet the unmet needs of the community by providing free information on disability rights, guidance, support, events, and workshops for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who work with them.

ALLY works to ensure that you know about all of the benefits and entitlements that you or your family member with a disability may be eligible to receive – from early intervention, through navigating Individualized Education Program plans (IEPs), to transitioning from public school and beyond – ALLY provides support at the start of the journey and throughout the lifetime of the person with a disability.

Information & Referrals

People with disabilities face hurdles in society, including finding information and support. At ALLY, we stay updated on available programs and collaborate with Loudoun County agencies as well as other nonprofits and organizations to assist people with disabilities and their families.

Free Consultations

Parents and caretakers facing challenges or concerns about their loved one’s future can schedule a free consultation with us. Help from IEP concerns to community referrals.

Parent, Caregiver and Professional Training & Workshops

We fill the unmet need of the community by providing training, workshops and more to people with disabilities, their families and the professionals who work with them.

iCanBike

iCan Bike teaches individuals with disabilities as young as 8 years old to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle. Approximately 80% of the people who participate in the iCan Bike program learn to ride a bicycle independently (at least 75 feet with no assistance) by the end of our five-day program while attending for only 75 minutes each day!

Ally offers this weeklong camp during the summer at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg, VA.
